The laboratory is the nerve center of Pathological Anatomy. Work, teaching, and research activities are conducted there, involving interprofessional interaction between people and between people and machines. It is a constantly evolving environment that is changing ever more rapidly to meet emerging professional and organizational-managerial needs.

The aim of this day is to discuss some specific aspects of this evolutionary process and to place them within a framework of professional, academic, and educational development.
